I havent been to this Big Boy in years but we had the best server, good conversation, and a nice fresh piece of strawberry pie.

I use to love going to Big Boy when I was younger and it had been about 10 years since I was at this place so I decided to stop in and have a meal here what I remembered was the Big Boy sandwich was like the Big Mac but it tasted much better. So me and my wife went and everything was great the sandwiches fries and strawberry shake was excellent and We will definitely be back and also the service was great too the only thing I would change is the cook was a little heavy on the pepper but everything was great even the price was better than I thought it would be definitely worth the trip

I have loved the Slim Jim sandwich since I was a little girl. I get cravings for them. My brother and father always ordered the Big Boy sandwich. As does my husband. Mom and I always got Slim Jim's...we went to Pearl St. location a couple weeks ago and my meal was delicious. Tasted just as I remembered. I was sorry to see the store on 28t
St. close a year or two ago. It's a longer drive through downtown traffic to get to Pearl St. But it is well worth time and effort. We had great service. Our coffee was delicious and hot. As was our food. The dining room and lady's room were clean. What can I say? I had a great meal with great service in a clean and pleasant environment! Give it a try! They have great omelettes and breakfasts as well.... -

We were visiting from another state and we haven't had a Big Boy in our town since 1991. When we saw this one we just had to visit. The food portions were generous, but all the food was very bland.

Came here at Christmas time 2016. And then again October 17 2017, the weekend of the Detroit Marathon. Awesome breakfast. Place is clean bathrooms are clean and the service is good. The potato pancakes are really good. The milkshakes are really good as well. My friend had the Belgium waffles with strawberries and whipped cream along with hash browns and an egg. Very good. Don't eat bacon all that often but this bacon was really tasty and crunchy. Been to this restaurant both times I've been to Grand Rapids, don't see why I won't be back again next time I'm in town.
